Firstly for providing the tree back, I found the flat structure a draw back due to the vastly increased scrolling.

Secondly for engaging in an RFC type process. Hopefully such engagement can prevent misleading options be presented to a user, without enforced “dumbing down” frustrating power-users who know exactly what they want.

The only feasible solution I can think of is to have right-click context menu for repository list items (with options enable/disable, autorefresh on/off for this repository )
