I have installed Your script, all went well, after rebooting new driver does not work at all

I had also xorg.conf with proper data but my kde wont start and I had to restore my xorg setting to default.

ich wollte gerade mal die neuen Treiber auf einem HP mit A8 installieren. Die Pakete verlangen kernel-syms (ok, keine Ahnung wofür – die fglrx Pakete existieren ja schon und sollten korrekte Abhängigkeiten aufweisen), kernel-pv-devel, kernel-xen-devel, yast-vm dementsprechend (keine Ahnung, warum opensuse hier rückwärtige Abhängigkeiten einbaut).

Wird kernel-pv-devel und kernel-xen-devel wirklich benötigt? sobald die mit den Treibern installiert werden, ist keine fglrx kernel Modul installiert und wird demnach auch nicht geladen, was in der Folge den X server nicht starten lässt.

Hast Du irgendeine Idee, wonach ich mal schauen könnte?
