the expert partitioner is surely a great tool, however your knowledge about the KDE PM is not quite up-to-date:

(“Both LVM on LUKS and LUKS on LVM configurations are now supported”)

Furthermore the KDE PM features now a KPMcore which is specifically designed to be used by distro installers. It would be nice if you could take a look at it.
